China White
"And I don't understand why I sleep all day, and I start to complain
when there's no rain." - China White, He Is Legend.
So here are some photos that represent what I have been up to over the past 4 weeks or so. It's been hectic.

That's our new TKOSM "promo" photo.
So Christmas day I headed north to spend a week with friends and family.

That's my Dad aka Santa, handing presents out to the kids and big kids.

Christmas Tree.

Boxing Day I hung out with Linz while he finished this angel wall that he was working on.

It turned out really cool. Photo will be in Artillery. Sorry to be a hold out.

Scissor lift.

Linz accidentally drove the scissorlift into this can of paint, needless to say it squirted all over my only "paint-free" clothing and his new digital camera.

This is another mural that Linz painted of the Tilt Train. It's across the road from the angel wall.

The last Dyms piece for 2006 - It was quite an enjoyable experience going back to the rockies, it doesn't happen often. I took a moment to reflect and spot the stars before dangling from the side of this beast - it was relaxing.

So here we are in the middle of knowhere, minding our own business, starting what was to be our last pieces of 2006...

The situation turned crab and we had to make a not-so-quick getaway in the form of a 5km jog/walk.

The getaway.
So then I fly back to Brizzzzzo for New Years Eve.

The girls were already in party mode.

We headed to Joel's for a few hours - Monkey faces!

Early evening posse shot.

Group hug.

More monkey faces.

This is the first few moments of 2007. Loose.

Some of the boys.

Candy.

Breakfast the morning after - Meat fest.
A few days after nye I headed to the Gold Coast with the Ironlak Writer Team to document a wall they were painting.

The roll up begins.

Lizid rocked a burner.

First night on the coast and trouble was brewing already.

I can't show you many photos of the wall right now but I can tell you that it was dope - and BIG.

Really BIG!

We spotted some taggggs.

Back at the wall.

Ironlak.

Lenny Lens stopped by the wall on his way to Summerfield Days.

Brad came down and hung out too. Brad prints all our shirts and shit - Top dude!

So we couldn't be on the coast for a week without one night of partying.

"Slayin Moles"

I have no idea how this happened...

Or this. (Much later in the night)

The princess rocks a bullshit flip after chicken-winging the bouncer.
Will do a full report on the Ironlak wall in a week or so.
Back in Brisbane last Wednesday night we went to see I Killed The Prom Queen and Misery Signals at 299. They were both fucking rad!

Misery Signals.

Lochlan rides the waves - He was so stoked.

Trad and Yoel, Woking out!

Lulu doing some voodoo eye shit.

Ahren and Tim, Tom, Ting Tong. Maggots!

I Killed The Prom Queen.

IKTPQ.
Last night The Hit Bands The Amity Afflicition and Say Nothing played at 299. I drove the gig with the intention of not getting messy - Whatever - It was PARTY time. The night was sick fun.

Say Nothing.

again.

Greazzzzyyyyyyy Dominic!!!!

Cat with her bro - It was good to see him again - Good dude.

Monkey faces!

Fannnnnnnnn!

Amity.

Amity.

Amity- Pretty stoked on this one.

Cat havin a blast.

Tattooed ladies.

Yoel and Lou.

More good times.

After lock out we went to "keep it real" for a while and had an accident.

Dirty Hands.

We ran into this Bad Girl - She had just finished work. Yes that's her tip money for the night.
After that it was bed time - Till next time. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Welcome to friday.
So, christmas was a blast...I'll start with that. It was my 25th on the 24th and lulu and I set off for good old palmwoods (my home town) to have christmas with her family...the night was so much fun it was ridiculous. Every member of the family was given another member (randomly) to make a costume for, and we all had to don said costume in the afternoon and wear them throughout the evening's festivities which included a whole lot of drinking, the best turkey I have ever eaten in my life, jumping off the roof into the pool, a whole lot of laughter and then more alcohol. Heaps of it...it was probably the best birthday I've ever had, the only thing that would have made it better would have been if my family had have been there, but you can't have it all...anyway, here are the photos from that.

Stuie and Suzy, lulu's parents, having an absolute blast.

Lulu.

Lucy goosey having a little trouble with the outfit, this was hilarious...I was in pain after laughing too hard.
Yeah, so is it strange that I was dressed as a homo, and polly's (lulu's sister) boyfriend was dressed as a woman? I think there was some family hilarity afoot myself...casper was dressed by lulu, he was hilarious all night.

Annabelle and Lulu having a great time.

Harry being...Harry. He's heading out west to be a cowboy.

Bluey! (raph)
The next few are just some happy snaps from the last few weeks...

At the ferry terminal...green, man, green.

This dude nearly ran into a tree while my brother and I were getting back to the car after checking the surf at Pt.Cartwright

My brother taking a look at the wave situation...it was massive...

Kriter. Lord.

Working on a canvas for the NCB art show THIS SUNDAY @ THE SOL BAR COOLUM FROM 2PM.

The canvas...

More work...

The other side...

This is a couple of things...K-West and I are starting a label called "Yukon Brand" for our friend Yukon who had a really bad accident last year and ended up being paralysed from the waist down, we're trying to get him out here with his brother KC as soon as we can...The other thing is a new project I've started called "shapes" which will culminate in a zine full of everyone's work. If you're interested in participating shoot me an email (joel@artillerymagazine.com) and I'll send you the eps file...you're only allowed to work with the 5 shapes pictured...
That's all for now! Luke will do a massive one in the next few days too I think...too much has been happening!
