So its been a damn loooong arse time since I got my blog on - I think about three weeks have past and things have been busy as hell- So much happening.
Here is what I have been up to for the past few weeks;
So I have been doing a little bit of graffiti lately, been pretty happy with some of them...

A few weeks back - Sirum from Melbs came to town for the Ironlak Writer Team's first wall - He arrived a week before everyone else so we got to paint a few things - I had wanted to try painting someone else's sketch of my name for a while - so when the subject came up, I asked Sirum to draw me a sketch - and yep, you guessed it - I painted it.

And that's my finished piece using Sirum's sketch. It's mad wierd painting someone else's sketch, I rarely use a sketch while painting but while doing this I had to keep the sketch handy at all times. I kinda had to squash it in a little too. It came out okay I guess.
Joel came back from tour for a couple of days. We had to check the proofs for the new Death Before Dishonour mag.

And that's Joel - Sleeping on the job, again. He looked dangerous so we gave him a helmet to make sure he wouldn't hurt himself. Safety first!
The rest of the Ironlak Writer Team arrived in Brisbane and we went camping for the night.
While trying to find our campsite we drove around in cars for hours on this track that is only meant for 4WD vehicles. As you can see it got a little hairy at times. Don't think this lads boss would be too thrilled if he knew what the company car was up to on the weekend. haha.

We finally made it - sunk some beer and ate some bbq meat. Here the writer team work on idea's for the wall they were in town to paint.

Back in civilization the team works on the wall concept some more.

Back in Brisso; Clanke racked the Schapelle Corby book. This is next on my reading list.
Went to the science centre the other day - They have this cool new display of the food chain that goes from the tiny animals through to the big ones. Check out this shark.
Then we went and kicked some rocks.
Friday night I went to the Amity Affliction gig in Brisso - The ENTIRE band was rotten fucking drunk!!!!

Yesterday I hooked up with Clanke and went for an explore and a paint.
We found these fucking crazy bats. There must have been thousands of them.

And to finish up - here is all the new cool shit that I have got lately. There a book on Dave Fox who is a dope artist/tattooist from Philly - The new Monster Children is dope! It is all printed in black ink only. There is also the new AKA mag, Lodown mag, Spothunters zine, The Last Nights Party book, Xplicit Grafx mag, a sticker book and a whole shit load of Krink mops... Oh yeah!!!!
