ALBURQCUCUMBER
Still chillin in Albuqurque New Mexico.
Its been good, Just chillin heaps etc etc.
Here are some photos;

Driving in Mikes truck - He prefers bikes but when visitors are in town he takes out the truck - Its dope!

We went painting at this day spot on the Amtrak line the day we arrived - Just quick pieces.

Lee rocked a nice piece.

Mike chillin on the tracks after he finished his piece.

We went to the tattoo studio that Mike works out of.

Its called Stay Gold - I like the logo alot.

Mike has alot of cool shit on the walls there.

This is a skateboard he did for Think - It was one of my favourite things in the studio.

Lee and Sarah - We met Sarah on the flight from L.A.

Mike hooked me up with a sweet as fuck tattoo. Its just the beginning.

Smoke break!

Inhale - Exhale.

Today, Mike borrowed his brother-in-law Josh's car and took us on a road trip to the top of a mountain called San Dia.

Posse shot at the top of the mountain.

When we got back to town we went bowling - We had fun but man, I suck at bowling.
Tommorow we are off to the big smoke. Cant wait.

L.A. MOTHER FUCKER
Sorry for the lack of updates on the blog - Ill try get to a computer more often.
Ive been in Los Angeles for the past few days. Its been fun. We should have stayed an extra day or two tho to get some more stuff done.
Here are some photos;

40 oz - Man we got drizunk on our first night in L.A. - We went to the Spider Club to an event put on by Swindle Mag - Shepard Fairey was DJing - I met Roger Gastman from Swindle - He was cool - I was a little drunk tho (Well very drunk!!) so I think I may have been spitting in his face a bit. (He was sober) - We ate heaps of Hot Dogs from the hot dog stand too - They didnt taste really good when I vomitted them up in the morning tho.

This cool lowrider was across from our hostel in Hollywood.

Pouring one out for all our homies - This is in the car park of El Pollo Loco which is a cool chicken/mexican fast food joint.

This was in a cool MSK/AWR "yard" in Hollywood - Heaps of dope burners in there.

This is a dope truck painted by Jersey Joe - He showed us a good time in L.A and he has dope artwork too. check him out at his website here: JERSEY JOE. Thanks big Joe! Alot of people live in thier cars in L.A. - Some guy lives in this truck. When we drove past the first time he was chilling on the curb in a deckchair.

Me chilling in front of this big metal fence that we painted in Hollywood.

L.A River was fun to paint in. We had to hang onto our cans at all times tho or they would have rolled into the river.

My feet hurt real bad at the end tho from standing on the angled surface.

We painted this cool wall downtown - it wasnt legal but we pretended that it was. When we started there was a highway patrol car up the street. He didnt bother us tho.

We paid this homeless crackhead $6 to take his shirt off, swing it around and yell L.A Motherfuckers!! Then jump in the dumpster. We then paid him another $6 to let us paint a big L.A on his chest and do the same thing again. He was stoked!

Went and did some shopping the day we left - This store was full of all sorts of crazy dope books, toys and comics - I was in heaven. I was also stoked to see that my buddy Misery from New Zealand had this window display there.

MSK AWR NIGGA - VEGEMITE SANDWICH NIGGA.
We spent the last night in LA hanging out with some of the Seventh Letter guys. We had fun - Eklips was telling us all kinds of stories, he also told me about the new Seventh Letter Jewellery that is coming out soon. It sounds dope.
So now we are in Albuqerque New Mexico, staying with Giant (thanks for letting me use your laptop, homie!). We are about to go paint on some shit so until next time peace we outee.

THE HIT BAND THE AMITY AFFLICTION
So I got a roll of film developed and here are some shots from Joels "last" show with The Amity Affliction. Turns out the band broke up later that evening so now they are going to play 3 farewell shows in July - Joel will be playing them too. I cant wait.
Anyways back to the night in question. It was drunken and blurry and I spent most of it trying to impress everyone with my drunken breakdancingxhardcoremosh movements.
Here are a few of my favourite photos from the roll;

This is the toilet that I pissed in all night. Is it just me or is something missing?

Joel and Kristoff The Russian aka K-West aka Kwizzle cold chillen backstage before Amity played. These two were having quite the D&M. I was just getting fuck-off drunk and acting like a toss.

Ahren and Joel sharing a special "band-member" bonding moment.

This is the last photo I took before my film ran out - I was spewin cause I was just starting to get warmed up.

RANDOM THOUGHTS
I just paid 45 dollars for breakfast. I feel slightly abused. I'm not rich and cannot afford that kind of price tag on what was a glorified toasted sandwich, some toast with topping and two beverages. (I really enjoy using the word "beverages" - I used it on our tax return instead of the words "beer and bourbon cunt" - Speaking of tax we made a ---- dollar loss this period so we wont be paying tax thanks governor.) Turns out Elana is sick from the food too so fuck them, I won't be eating there again.
I'm going on an adventure soon, hopefully it will be a fun filled adventure. At the moment I care not to mention the details here - however I may post photographs from my destination - should I reach it, and should it have a comfortable place for me to connect to this internet world. Or I might wait until I return. Whatever.
Speaking of photographs. I find it quite FUCKED UP that in this day of convenience (by that I mean technology) that certain things are quite, mmm, how shall i put this, INCONVIENENT! Like when your camera breaks, stiff shit if you need it back urgently cause the only repair centre is in Sydney and it takes 20 days to fix a camera no matter what. No over the counter service here. Oh and I'm trying to find 800 speed slide film but since digital has taken over its bloody impossible to find.
I'm listening to the new The Streets album lately - "The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living" - I enjoy it.
I'm also listening to both albums by a band called The Oceans. If you can find their video clip, peep it! It's fucking cool! (Its called One With The Ocean and it is one of the best video clips I have seen in a while)
I really want to learn a language too, Maybe Italian. Japanese would be cool, but that seems like too much effort
Anyway enough "thoughts" heres the new shit:

New Irak Tees model by Earsnot.- I really want this Terrorist one.

I like what this one says

For more of these go to 12oz
I got the new Banksy book yesterday;

I mainly got it for Elana cause I guess the explosion of "Street Art" has kind of ruined the impact of his work to me, plus I heard that he is a pompos arsehole. The book is still cool none the less. I like the quote on the back cover - "There's no way you're going to get a quote from us to use on your book cover" - Metropolitan Police Spokesperson. Arsehole or not, he is still a clever son of a bitch.
Ben from Switzerland (The dudes that designed Every Time I Die's cd art) submitted a cool photo article to Vice magazine's website about his time working as a "pool technician". I found it interesting so check it out here: POOL DUDES
Speaking of Vice; The Russian issue is out now.

Imagine how excited our editor Kristoff The Russian (Death Before Dishonour) was when he bought the magazine around the other night - If I had my digital camera I would have a photo - but I don't so, mmm, there is the cover anyway.
Fans of Grey and Amaze should check out this video clip. It's a Japanese Kylie Minogue video clip which was directed by Amaze and features some "unknown" graffiti writers riding around on scooters and doing fresh tags. As Clanker said "I would sell out for Kylie."

Saturday, it's a saturday...
So this, below, was our weekend. Well, saturday anyway. We all rocked up at this wall to do a paya/yukon tribut wall, which is where the story starts. I had rocked up with my two obligatory tallies, or long necks for all your weird southerners who read this, along with my little bag of paint. Obviously. I was one of the first to rock up with lulu, and there was some poor kid painting the wall already. Missed the memo. He was told there was a tribute wall happening and to hurry up, he was cool about it though and finished his piece just as the others rocked up.
Chris, a.k.a. K-West, a.k.a. Editor of death before dishonour then arrived, along with dyms rock, lenny and a bucket of paint to roll the wall with. The rest speaks for itself really...until the part where chris and I got way too drunk, went to a party at some joe kids house, ended up in the valley running amuck until about 5am sunday morning. Didn't get home till about 6am or something like that and just as we got home chris lost his atm card in this little slot in the dash...no shit, I have no idea how he did that, it's ridiculous...this hole that the card went into, I've never heard of it happening to anyone before. Thus chris decided it was put there purely for him to lose his atm card in. I would argue this, but seriously, who loses their atm card in a gap only just big enough to fit it in?? Chris...he ended up crashing on my back deck, after spending a few hours on the front deck..hahha..good weekend all in all.

Paya, by myself.

Robocop

Peaches the fish!

There were some cool as fuck toys laying around at the unit we were at last night...cooooool as fuck. This was one of my favourites, along with robocop of course.

Myself and our new sales dong (trad) for death before dishonour smoking the first cigarettes from the second packet...we had WAY too many packets of cigarettes for one night, disgusting disgusting disgusting. I think we hit the 4 packet zone.

This is trad and sean (sp?) at the mixing desk at sean's place. It was a sweet set-up, and so we settled in with our 18 cans of scotch and fooled around until about 3 or 4am.

I took this on the walk from the city to the valley last night. Usually that walk takes about 20 minutes or something like that. Not if your name is Joel or Trad. It took us the better part of an hour, from memory. This did include a few impromptu stops for the relieving of oneself, but still, a little excessive I think.

And there he is. The man himself. Robocop. Standing next to a few of the pedals we had set up under the mixing desk. Fun fun fun times last night, I feel like death warmed up today though.
I climbed up the outside wall of our office at around 5am this morning, drunk, laughing, and banging loudly on the window. The boss, or the little bull as we like to call him, came shouting out into the lounge area like a crazed drunken man; only to discover me, laughing my arse off and drunk as a skunk on the balcony. It was a really really good night, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Trad and I made a pact to start causing more trouble, so we will.
Knuckles are meant to be getting tattooed tomorrow evening, we'll see what happens.
Boogie.

What a mad dude...I love boogie's photography. Not the last time I will post work by him. I've got more stuff to post shortly, some photos from last night when trad and I got a little silly and I started belting out homo tunes in a little apartment in the valley. I got glassed in the head with a yoda glass, no shit.

Avalon Drive cover. I like it, I can't wait to finish this one off it should look pretty slick when it's all put together.
