Im trying (very successfully) to grow a fucking disgusting beard. Im trying to eat breakfast (unsuccessfully "no food" poses a problem). Im trying to have a shower.

Its 5am and this is what I'm looking at

'Numerous authorities have discussed the contribution that Marcel Duchamp has made to the evolution of 20th century visual art practice'.

Although Duchamp is the fucking man;

IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG

What a weekend. Stress overload got the better of me so rather than working on Death Before Dishonour like I should have been, I bailed on that and did some other stuff;

Friday night my good friend James Alley had an exhibition called "Sinister Whimsy". His new works were pretty dope. I love the way his style has developed. Here are some of the works,
Click HERE to see all the works from his show. If you have money, buy a painting and support a starving artist.

"Current State of the Watchmen"

"I Have a Party Hat" (This was Elana's favourite)

Gwenn and Klaudo made the journey from the Gold Coast for the show, afterwards they stopped by to check out my pad. It was great to have them over.

Saturday was pretty cool too. Myself, Hitnes, Burbs and Klevs went and painted in a secret abandoned building. It was really fun. I love exploring places like this. Seeing what was left behind is really interesting. This place had big industrial lights, generators, paperwork and all sorts of stuff.

Dyms vs Hitnes

After painting I was really nackered so I went home and chilled out for few hours. It was good to just laze around for once.
Image hosting by Photobucket
This is the sky as the sun set. As Hitnes would say; "beautiful!"

At night time Hitnes and I headed over for a secret showing of the new WTCS dvd. About 70-100 writers packed into a small space to check out the film. The alcohol was flowing from our backpacks and the results were quite drunken. Sofle and Big Clanker get props for being the most drunk. It certainly provided a few laughs. It was great to catch up with a few people that I havent seen in a long time.

During the screening. I was front row for finer viewing.

Finally a venue for graffiti events that you can trash afterwards. Writers go crazy tagging on the buffed part of the wall where the video was projected.

A few more drinks later and it was bed time. Sunday morning I provided a greasy bacon, eggs and mushroom breakfast. Sure was the goodness. Anyway I better piss off and do some work before Joel cuts my nuts off.

Make money? Fuck you

Every time I sign in to write something I see that stupid fucking make money thing underneath...it makes me...well, not really angry, it annoys me...actually, no it doesn't. I don't know why I said that. Anyway, here's a new shirt I did for Glory of This, they've got a new record coming out soon and I heard two tracks, it's killer.

DINGO'S WITH BOLT CUTTERS (or/ Hip Hop Holiday)

We just got back from a few days camping on Fraser Island. None of us could afford the trip but we did it anyway. Ironlak deserves the props for scraping together enough cash when things are tough for them.

We got started 3am Sunday morning which was abit hectic but we had to do the 3 hour drive to Harvey Bay to pick up our Troopy. We arrived late but things were well in motion for our "Hip-Hop Holiday".

Image hosting by Photobucket
We had to make sure we had our essentials.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Big Linz reverses the troopy onto the barge.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Shortly after our arrival on the island we stop for a few posse shots.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Thats not a rope dickhead.

Image hosting by Photobucket
This is a smooth section of the "road" over there. This place is amazing. Three days of this is pretty special.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Day 2, Cruzing at 100k/hr on the beach. I could stab this face.

Image hosting by Photobucket
A shipwreck on the beach. This is slowly sinking into the sand.

Image hosting by Photobucket
We stopped to walk down this shallow creek.

Image hosting by Photobucket
This is the view out the back window as we are leaving Indian Head. We were supposed to see Tiger sharks from the top of this hill but the shitty weather meant that we didnt get to see them.

Image hosting by Photobucket
We set up camp on the beach. It started raining so we left our esky out overnight. We woke up at about 4am to discover that dingo's with boltcutters had broken into our esky and stolen all our meat. Breakfast was a non-event. Luckily they didnt touch our alchohol so I had bourbon for breakfast. The above shot is of a dingo who was chillin at our camp at about 6am. I took the shot from inside the tent just as he was bailing. This is day three.

Image hosting by Photobucket
The roads were pretty rough. Linz got pretty confident behind the wheel which allowed for some pretty scary driving. Sitting in the back of the troopy provided some amusing moments while we were being thrown around like rag-dolls. Seatbelts were a must! Im sure that we ended up with a reputation on the island as maniacs. The faster speeds allowed us to see more of the island which was pretty cool.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Posse shot from a lookout. This was just a big lot of sand. Pretty cool.

Image hosting by Photobucket
The weather finally cleared up for our arrival back at Lake McKenzie for our final swim. There were way more backpackers there this time which made things more fun. Topless girls on the beach are always a bonus. I got really sunburned during this swim. Red raw.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Here is a dingo about to mess with some unsuspecting tourists in the carpark of Lake McKenzie. He looked pretty hungry. poor guy. I think he wanted a piece of that girls hot dog. She didnt look too willing to share. I can now see why dingo's are pretty keen on peoples babies.

Fraser island is amazing. Check it out some time if you get the chance. I know I will be heading back as soon as I can.

Friday night was Claudio's 30th Birthday party. He hired out a hall at Broadbeach (Gold Coast) and invite a bunch of crazy dressed up people. We all had so much fun.

HITNES THA FITNESS

So its been a busy few days. My good friend Hitnes from Roma Italia arrived in Brisbane on Sunday. Im really stoked to see him. Last time I saw him was 2001 when Linz and I were in Rome. That place is the fucking best! Hitnes is a really really nice guy, having him here makes me want to go back to Rome so bad. Even tho he has been in Australia 4 months there are still things that we are teaching him about Australian slang etc that he hasnt picked up from other places, which is fun.

Check out his website here: HITNES

XXXX - Good as Gold mate

Went and hung out yesterday with Linz and Tues while they painted their second tribute wall to XXXX beer. No this isnt a commission wall or an advertisment. Linz just loves XXXX Gold, Big Tuesy just loves beer in general.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Some old but dope street pieces we saw by the DTEES boys on the way to the wall. These guys love to paint shut down petrol stations.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Linz was all excited to show me this street full of dope rich houses. After a few wrong turns we found this "ranch". Damn some people have a shitload of cash!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Linz puts the final touches on the XXXX logo shortly after we arrive at the wall.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Since this wall just happened to be on a pub we enjoyed free beer all day. This is Tues working on his piece.

Image hosting by Photobucket
We stayed a little too long at the wall. The sky made it worthwhile tho.

By the end of the evening the wall was looking pretty dope. See the final flicks in the next Artillery mag.
