I can see through oven doors

So I got back today from being on tour with my friends "The Amity Affliction". They played Townsville and Cairns. It was really nice to visit my hometown again. It was my Dads 48th birthday on Thursday so I got to see him which was nice. This trip was really fun and Id do it again in a second. I dont think that I have laughed so much in a long time. Took heaps of photos on the trip. Here are a couple of them:

We're in townsville on a little excursion into the tropics...and to play a couple of shows. It's been good fun so far, last night there were like 160 crazy drunk malaka's at the show in cairns. 18+, it was hectic. We're going to sizzler soon, I'm pretty sure I'm in love with sizzler right now. Maybe it's just the idea of it, but I'm pretty excited. Processed seafood salad...ohhhhh yeah. I miss lulu, and I miss sleeping in a regular bed...

I got woken up this morning by a phonecall from Yoel at 7.30am. Imagine how excited I was (I went to bed at 4am-ish). I cant believe I used to be at work this time every day. Like Banksy said "People who get up early cause war, famine and death". Whether he is right or wrong seems irrelevant but Im still snoozing till midday on the regular. I love my life.

Anyways so Im going on tour today with this band called The Amity Affliction. Deep down I know Im excited.

First off, I dropped by Folio Books in the city tonight and picked the new Mass Appeal..


Adrian Brodie?? DoubleU-Tee-Eff? Apparently hes a hip hop head from NY. I had no idea. I was in the mood for a magazine and this one seemed like a bit of fun so picked it up. Probably caught my eye due to the fact I've been into the whole nike dunk, street clothing thing lately (What with my new Ursagrow Gold Shirt an all).


Anyways maybe some background detail is in order? I know most people will know luke if they check this shit out, but me? Whos Yimmy? Why Yimmy? Is he from russia? No, but close, grandparents from Lithuania, and the others from Scotland and England.I've been designing websites mostly for the last, hrmm, 3 years? I tried php and stopped cause it was balls, and redirected into flash (which Im still learning). I haven't done too much work that I'm actually proud of although The Optimen.com came out pretty well if I don't mind saying so. Im just about to start my course at The Queensland College of Art next week studying Design (majoring in communication design and specialising in digital design). Which I can't wait for.



Bam! I have a girlfriend, sorry ladies. What do I do in my spare time you ask? I enjoy alcohol, probably too much. I love photography although I never make anytime to further the interest so I'm trading my monster minolta in for a canon powershot this week for a point and shoot model which I can actually carry around. I pretty much like all music except for ridiculous pop shit.. Honestly its 3:37am (don't listen to the times posted on here, they're from out server in the states me thinks) and I doubt very much you care who I am or what I have to say so I'll get back to what this blog is all about..
